Endress with coe-driver Ray Bailey finishes 3rd in ST11 at California Speedway.
Endress finishes 3rd at California Speedway, Grand-Am Cup car #42 HRP Motorsports in ST11, with coe driver
Ray Bailey.
In third place was the #42 Acura Integra with sponsorship from Rauland and
God Speed on Wheels. Ray Bailey, who scored a third place at Barber
Motorsports Park in his first race with the HRPWorld.com Integra, secured a
second podium this race. Belinda Endress started the #42
machine and did an excellent job of running with the leaders and keeping the
car out of harm's way in a race that was littered with damage in the other
classes.
"We couldn't be happier with how Ray and Belinda drove this weekend," added
Team Manager Bill Pate. "Belinda was in her first weekend with us but she
adapted to these Integras very quickly. Ray was able to jump in and finish
the #42 machine in third after starting the #44 Integra
(which took fifth place)."
“It was a super weekend out at the Speedway. I was fortunate to get the
ride with the Nonamakers and really enjoyed working with them. Running the
HRP Motorsports Acura Integra car #42 with coe-driver Ray Bailey, and Will
and Howie running the sister car #43, was great fun out on the track. This
was the first time I experienced that during a race and took to it very
easily. This was also the first time I had raced a front wheel drive car,
so I had to make some changes in my driving style and it all worked out.
Again, I would like to say how great it was to work with the Nonamakers and
their entire crew, and I hope to be running with them again soon”.
The Lexus Grand American 250 will be aired on SPEED Channel on Saturday,
July 5 at 3:30 p.m. ET. The Grand-Am Cup Series will travel next to Watkins
Glen International for The Glen Twin 250s, June 20-22.
