2003 #42 California Preview: Belinda Endress and Ray Bailey Team Up

Posted (06/02/2003) - For round five of the Grand-Am Cup, the #42 King Motorsports Acura will have a new driver combination. Ray Bailey makes his second start with the HRPworld.com team after an amazing third place finish at Barber Park.

"Ray did an excellent job coming into the team at Barber Park," states crew chief Mike Thomas. "He was very steady in his progress all weekend long. In a very pressure filled rain race, he kept right on the pace of the leaders, allowing Howie to bring the car home in thuird place."

Belinda Endress will be making her debut race with the HRPworld.com team.

"Belinda is a very experienced veteran road racer," - states Will Nonnamaker, driver of HRPworld.com's #43 King Motorsports Acura Integra. "She has a great resume coming out of the Panoz GT series. Her experience at the California Speedway should be beneficial in the team's overall success this weekend."

Currently HRPworld.com's #42 King Motorsports is third in the ST II Team Championship. With still seven races to go in the season, #42 is only 22 points out of first place. In 2002, the #42 finished in third in the ST II Team Championship.
